G7 Labour and Employment Ministers’ Meeting

Canada to host a virtual G7 Labour and Employment Ministers’ Meeting on December 3, 2025.

The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, is bringing together G7 counterparts, international organizations and social partners to engage in meaningful discussions focused on empowering youth for the future of work.

In an era of rapid technological advancement and shifting job landscapes, empowering the next generation has never been more vital. This meeting will serve as a platform for ministers to explore the challenges facing today’s youth and to share innovative approaches that can support youth readiness and resilience in our rapidly evolving labour markets.
